Exhibition Drill

Throughout the year there have been multiple exhibition drill teams. Since we compete in two drill leagues it is neccesary to have different types of teams.

This year we had an unarmed platoon drill, four person exhibition drill, armed platoon drill, and two man trick drill.

The unarmed team originally was commanded by Cadet Joanna Moreau. She made a routine entirely from scratch and has done an outstanding job. She competed in two competions as the commander and did very well given her competion. She did not place, but she did an excellent job. She was then replaced by Cadet Stephen Savarese. He commanded the platoon through two meets. At these meets the team placed third and second. All of the competions were for Northeast Drill League. Stephen then commanded at the regional meet, where the team placed second. Since our team qualified for the Area Four meet we took a the team to New York. Joanna resumed command. Unfortunaetly the team did not win, but the cadets were still outstanding.

The second exhibition drill team was the four man (person) exhibition drill. The original team consisted of; Matt Gerry (CDR), Ronnie Oliver, Adam Sevigny, and Jed Robbins. They competed at all four of the Northeast drill league meets. They did not place but were outstanding all the same.

I am not entirely sure of the story of the Armed Drill Platoon, so I will not disgrace it by putting wrongful information. As soon as news is sent to me, I will post it here.

Last, but definaetly not least, was the two man trick. They competed at the Navy meets. They took first place at the regional meet, but were defeated in New York.
